My Personal Profile

*I registered for this course because…

I really want to know more about my body and how I can improve my fitness.  I believe that I am in shape and fit, but I wanted to know of ways to maintain or even improve on my body fitness.  I an aware of my family genes and I wanted to try and reverse those from happening to me as much as I possibly can.

* My favorite part of PE is…

The fact that I don't have to sit in a chair and write.  I can move around and be active.  I always thought of myself as being an active learner and this allows me to learn in a way that I find to be the easiest.

*I think my current current level of fitness is…

Average.  I know that I can still improve and I will trying to improve by working out outside of PE.  One particular thing that I could do is have a daily routine or a weekly schedule to follow.

*My previous personal best beep test is...

12.8.

*I am currently doing the following things to be active (outside of PE)…

Playing soccer on a local soccer team and one or twice a week I go to the gym.  During a week, I usually have about 5 hours of physical activity from soccer and about 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours of physical activity.

*Things that PHYSICALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. medical, injury)

I have mild asthma and at times I get joint pains in my knees which make it extremely difficult for me to run because with each step a sharp pain goes through my knee.

*Things that MENTALLY prevent me from doing exercise (i.e. energy, time)

Laziness.  If I know that I should do some exercise, but just don't feel like it, I probably won't do it and that's only because of my laziness.  I procrastinate a lot and I think that really overlaps with my laziness, which allows me to think, "Don't worry I will do it later."

*My eating habits are…

Decent.  I have okay eating habits, but can be enticed by things like ice cream cake and jalapeno potato chips.  I try to eat healthy, but sometimes it is just too tempting.  The following are things that I could/ have eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner before.

Breakfast:  Cereal, scrambled eggs, toast with peanut butter,  A glass of water and milk.

Lunch:  Chicken breast sandwiches, subway, etc.  with juice.

Dinner:  Chicken, Fish, rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, lasagna, etc.

*I Want to be able to learn more about…

The potential side effects of different supplements such as protein shacks, etc. Also, more body muscles.

*I want to improve my abilities in… (ex. fitness, communication, positive impact)

Fitness and leadership.  I know that I can make a positive impact on our class, and I just need to break out of my shell and become the leader that I know I can be.  I know I have the leadership quality because I still remember Mr. Neufeld telling me in grade 8 to try and get my friends to work hard like I would in class.

*Outside school activities I’d like to try are...

Mountain biking, skydiving and the Vancouver Sun Run.

*My fitness goals for the semester are…

To lose some weight and to put on muscle, by maintaining a schedule and daily routine.

*My personal character goals are...

Find a way to forget about peer pressure and to become my own person.

  1. Outstanding personal profile. Some really nice insight and you offer a lot of dynamic meaningful goals and aspirations. I'm on board with trying sky diving as well. Field trip? You should definitely give the Sun Run a shot as well.

I like how you genuinely really seem to want to become a leader and believe in your ability to do so. Our class platform should be a good platform to do so.

Hopefully you reach your goals and develop into the kind of person you aspire to be.
